About Us

Every child has the potential to paint, with the desire to create and show. Psychologists have proved through a large number of experiments, children can gain knowledge and experience through early painting, can increase IQ by 30%. Painting is very important for children's healthy growth and quality training.

Our Art Lesson

Grade Level:  2nd grade

Time Needed: five 35 minutes classes

Based on Common Core Standards 

Learning Objectives:

  • To be able to produce an interest in painting

  • To be able to name and blend colors

  • To be able to compose color properly and fill in colors

  • To be able to imitate a complete picture of a child painting

  • Student interaction with each daily video by answering the questions:

  1.  What would you like to draw?

  2.  What color does red and blue become? What color does yellow and blue become? What color does red and yellow become?

  3.  What colors will you use when you want to show cold and warm environment?

  4.  Why should I start with the configuration when Copying?

 

 

Classroom Activities

 

  • Learning Games:

    • The Association of Shapes Game: The teacher named a shape and asked the children to hold out objects of similar shape.

    • Sing ‘Color Song’ 

    • The Color Matching game: Take the card with the word in color such as red or blue and find the paint.

    • Pictionary Game: Ask two children to come up and give one of the text prompts him to draw the object described by the text. The other child wondered what he had drawn.

  • Address common problems by asking questions:

  • Which painting do you like best in class? Why do you like it?

  • What color does black and white become?

  • Why should i use this kind of color to finish this kind of painting?

  • Why should I start with the configuration when Copying?

  • Group practice: 

  • Group of five children make use of the basic colors on the table, and point out the colors to each other.

  • Divide 5 children into groups, give children of each group different colors, let them freely discuss and mix colors, and finally see how many colors each group can mix.

  • In a group of 5 children, the painting to be copied will be analyzed, and each of them will do a simple copy of the configuration first. Finally, the one with the best configuration in the group will be selected as the representative, and the best configuration will be evaluated among multiple groups.
